Cattle Tick Ivomec Plus Injection:
Maximum efficacy is reached 4-5 days after treatment. Engorged female ticks that drop from cattle in the initial days after treatment may lay viable eggs. This should be taken into account when planning a strategic tick control program.
Ivomec Plus should be alternated with conventional dips or pour-ons when the program requires repeat treatments. Do not re-treat with Ivomec Plus in less than the meat withholding period of 28 days.
Persistent Activity:
At the recommended dose rate, Ivomec Plus effectively controls infections with:
- Ostertagia spp. and Cooperia spp. acquired up to at least 7 days after treatment
- Dictyocaulus viviparous and Chrysomyia bezziana acquired up to at least 14 days after treatment.
Dose Rate Ivomec Plus Injection:
1mL for each 50kg liveweight by subcutaneous injection.
Heavier animals (for example mature bulls) should receive an additional 1mL for each 50kg over 650kg.
